No Music, No Art, No Sports!

So this morning, a friend of mine over at Mercy Rule's blog sent me an email about how his towns government, Stoneham, Massachusetts has eliminated sports, music and art programs from their towns budget. It's really unfortunate that it is these programs, that can really make a difference in a kids life are always the first to go. It is these programs that alot of kids love and look forward too, while at the same time keeping them out of trouble. If it wasn't for the art classes or the sports programs that I participated in, while in school I wouldn't be were I am now or have the life long friends that I have.
